Dagenham Day of Action

Dear Resident, 

Officers from Local Neighbourhood Policing Teams, conducted a day of action on Tuesday 19 May. 

Officers executed a search warrant with OFCOM in premises on Reede Road, Dagenham. 3 individuals arrested for cultivation of cannabis, officers seized 2 bags of herbal cannabis and around 30 plants. Investigation continues. 

1 individual was arrested for failing to appear at court for a theft offence. 2 other individuals arrested for immigration offences. 

1 vehicle seized, and driver reported for driving offences and no insurance. 

Officers provided high visibility patrols around Heathway, and conducted weapon sweep on Millard Terrace, Dagenham. 

Officers had an engagement stand at Heathway, including the Future Youth Zone and Box England. Where they have engaged with the community and local businesses. 

Further engagement with students from various local schools, around knife crime, at Knife Crime Awareness Event.

Officers carried out a range of proactive activity, working closely with partner agencies to disrupt offending, engage with the public and provide reassurance to local residents.
